    :: ECS Tuning :: NEW!! B5 S4 ECS Tuning 2-Piece Direct-Fit Brake Rotors

    Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

    Light on weight. Long on looks. The new ECS Tuning 2-Piece front brake rotors combine the natural advantages of a cast iron braking surface with the weight savings and rapid heat dissipation of an aluminum hat.

    Cast iron-gray and durable matte black hats create an eye-catching contrast that accents painted calipers behind open-faced alloy wheels.

    These beauties have all the extras: black anodized hats, cross-drilled and slotted brake faces, and unlike OEM, directionally vaned rotors for better cooling and heat dissipation over stock.

    Pretty cool! Nice to see some efforts to save weight on these behemoths.

    Do you offer them with alternate patterns than the slotted + drilled? I have an aversion towards rotors that are slotted & drilled as it screams 'look at me!' rather than 'function'.

    The inclusion of stainless rotor set screws is a nice touch, until you realize there were no 'rusty factory' screws to begin with.

    Also, seems a little silly to have fronts but not rears. Should we expect matching rears at some point?

    At this time they are only available in cross drilled and slotted.

    Unfortunately we do not have plans for factory size 2-piece rear rotors. Though we do have a 2-piece rear big brake kit HERE

    This upgrades the rear rotors from 256mm to 306mm.

    Do the big brake kit rears fit under stock wheels? Or do you need 18's, 19's, etc? Be good if ECS put a note about wheel size on the product description of their BBKs. I know you'll never be able to guarantee fitment of a certain size wheel but it'd be good to have an idea.

    The factory front rotors are 321mm these are 306mm so you should still have plenty of room with factory 17in wheels.

    All wheels are different. There are 1000's of wheels in different sizes and offsets. But you could have 2 different wheels with the same specs and only one might fit. It really depends on the spoke design.
