Thanks for sharing the photos, it looks great! The manhattan grey is a nice pick, I'm leaning towards that myself, just not listed yet as an option for the S4.
    +1

I had both an A7 and S3 with screens that folded away, it was out 99% of the time, I was just waiting for it to get stuck lol

And good lord I'd hate to see the repair bill should one of those motors goes out.

Indeed it is. I would like to do it right and have it painted black, but its a lease so i have yet to decide if i want to dive that deep into it. This was more of a test to see if I thought it looked right on the car, and I have to say i love it. I think it completely changes the attitude of the cars look. Im looking for some 19in rotors for it to go with along with the coils I want to go to, and then will be powdercoating them black. Ill get the look I want one way or another, its just going to take a little time.

I really don't like the grille design, way too much chrome. But there is plenty of potential to dump all that extra chrome, and go with an RS style honeycomb. I like the plasti dip ones, big improvement.

Personally, I'd do the front grill like how aks986 has done it. With the rings as it is and the rest of it black.

Does anyone else really freakin hate the navigation system? I almost punched the screen right off the other day. Finally gave up trying to use the nav to find locations and instead now use the MMI app exclusively to send addresses to the system.

But, you would think, for $50k we might have a nav system that actually searches for businesses and cities and would be smart enoigh to know the difference. Funny when you have to wait five minutes or more for the nav to give up and finally give you the google search bar which finds the locations maybe 50% of the time. Really, freakin, irritating. It really sucks because most of the time I have to do searches or find new locations while driving and I don't touch my phone while driving!

Funny because when it works, it works great! But when I'm trying to write in an address and it refuses to recognize a zero for a zero or an "O" for and "O," shit really gets complicated. Oh. And the other day I was trying to write an "X" for the abbreviation for Texas and the first line keeps getting erased and puts in the other line then registers it as an "L." Talk about a rage-inducing effect.

Anyway... i guess the question is, does anyone else have issues like this or am i plagued by the stupidity of technology.

I don't have the car yet, but I'm curious about this... doesn't the VC use Google Earth and therefore the Google Maps database for searches? Or did you not buy that option and are stuck with the lame car manufacturer's version (they always seem to suck).

No, Audi doesn't use Google Maps for navigation. They use Google Earth as an overlay for the car's built in system. A lot of people are confused by that.

The only thing good with Audi build-in navigation is it will show instruction on head up display. Using google or apple it won't show turn by turn in head up, only in centre screen.

Got them on ebay, $180, Chinese replica's but they fit very good, install was a breeze. I just finished a DIY here: http://www.audiworld.com/forums/a4-b...-caps-2911146/. It's indeed scuba blue with 35% tint all around.

I want all my exterior chrome painted black, like the black optics pack.

How much is a reasonable price for all the exterior chrome trim to be painted + debadge?
