WTB front bumper support/reinforcement bar/rebar (S4 or A4)

Do you have a trashed front bumper you can't really do anything with? Sell me the metal support beam and put some money towards your replacement bumper. I don't care if it's a little dented or banged up, as long as it still bolts to the bumper shocks.

check out ebay, I scored one a few moths ago for about $65 shipped.

Ebay is ridiculous... tons of B6 beams for like $80, tons of B8 beams for $100, and the lone B5 bar, looks like it was pulled off a burned out wreck... is $180. Nope. Not spending anywhere near $180 for a temporary solution. I only want to run a beam to protect the front end while I fix my OEM RS4 bumper.

I even bought a B5 Passat bumper for $28 shipped just to check it out because it was so cheap... the holes line up perfectly, but the bumper beam isn't "tall" enough to allow it to slide over the shock ends and bolt up.
