    Downhill start question

Anyone notice a strange kind of hesitation when letting off the brake and applying throttle from a standstill on a downhill? My car is APR but did this from day 1. Almost like there's a hill descent control mechanism disengaging before the car moves. 2014 RS7. Thanks

No one else notices anything similar on steep downhill starts?

Does the parking break engage automatically when going to Park, and maybe it disengages and takes that extra second? Possibly without any indicator?
