    Here is what comes standard with the red, non-ceramic rear calipers (and recent production black calipers):

    In order to attach them holes need to be drilled in the calipers for the mounting pins on the cover. There are stainless steel clips (included) that you put in the holes to grip the cover.

    I had my local independent shop do this because there aren't any dimples on the rear calipers to mark where you need to drill.

    After they were installed I learned that there is more than just a colour difference between the red and (eearly) black callipers - they have a different profile. The covers don't fit flush on the early black calipers (you really won't notice it unless you are up close) like they do on the red ones.

    As I say above, cars with the black calipers now come with the covers and they fit flush.

    @DB22
    I drive a 2014 RS7 with dynamic package (included the ceramic brakes)

    @Spidey9999
    If i get a local shop to install would it void any warranty ?

    Other than if the rear brake calipers fail for some reason and you get some push back from a dealer because of the holes I don't see any warranty issues arising.
