    injector/intake manifold Q

    Ok, just got back from Audi and they couldnt find a name or a part number for this part. its the little plastic piece that screws into the intake manifold, which the fuel injector sits in. WTF is this thing called??? even the mech looked at me like my head was on backwards. i showed them on my car what i was talking about but they still couldnt find it in the database. anyone here know????

    humm, maybe it's mart of the manifold? I had a problem with them looking up parts when I broke the banjo bolt off my K03 houseing and wanted to get a new one. It was actually part of the turbo.

    Are you talking about something like injector spacers?

    its not part of the manifold

    it can be bought seperate

    what year/engine code is your car?

    edit: and if the tech looks @ your car and still has no clue what youre talking about..you need to goto a different dealer/shop

    it looks like its a part # 058 133 555

    that is listed in ETKA as "insert for injector" for an AEB motor..its in illustration 133-50..keep in mind that im using a vw copy of etka so im looking up a passat so the illustration # might not be the exact same for an a4 but the dealer can still search by part # and pull up the illustration

    It is also called a Injector seat. On my car they were black and they can be unscrewed with the right tool.
