Stage 2 S4 vs stock RS7

Random question. How much faster is stock rs7 compared to stage 2 s4? Can you definitely feel the difference in acceleration performance? For those who had both s4 and rs7...

What are we considering stage 2? Pulley and tune? That's what I have and there's no way I'd be able to hang with an rs7. Never been in an rs7 but I've seen those things in action.

Stock rs7 seems to be a mid 11s car in the quarter mile so you would have to be on race gas and serious modifications to keep up.

Kind of a hard question to answer. I pulled up quarter mile times as a way to compare. They're both at around 11.6 seconds. Of course, there are 1 million and one different factors that effect the speeds of the two cars.

I haven't took my car to a drag strip yet so I can't speak of 1/4 mile time, but for 0-60 the p3 Guage shows results under 3.6 seconds.

The RS is a monster and I doubt there are more than a handful of S4s that could hang.

Here is a video for you. Even with a late start the RS7 walks the S4.

RS is bone stock
S4 is APR s2, Roc Euro, and Milltek non-res

I keep saying it. those p3 gauge are not accurate... make no sens at all. if stage2 was really in the 3.5-3.7 territory, you would have a 1/4 times of 11.5ish. Heck, most stage 2 are doing 12.3ish.


None the less, 0-100 in 4sec ish for a family sedan worth between 20-40k is a pretty darm good result and quick enough to past 99% of the car in front of you. but audizine's member needs to stop believing their stg2 S4 can do it in 3.5 sec lol Go run head to head vs a GTR and see who's in front after 100 kmh/h.

Not gonna lie tho, I wish too my S4 could be as quick as any other Audi so when I pass next to a RS7 or R8 ( hopefully stock), I could play with them.

I'll try to run a stock rs7 at the strip this spring.. Bet I'll give it a good run for its money. I should be able to trap similarly if I can get a dual pulley tune by then.

One of my buddys has an apr stage 1 rs7. That car is mental with just a tune on race gas. Interior was gorgeous as well. Here's one of his passes


It's not apples to apples though. Only way stg2 s4 will keep up is on race gas and the rs7 would need to be bone stock.

Not many stage 2 can hang with a stock rs7. Maybe a balls out stage 2 could stay on its ass till 120, that's about it.

S4 vs RS7? Wow, seriously? Absurd. RS7 is a monster. S4 struggles against a Maxima. The S4 is a great car, it's good at everything but it's just not that fast.

I have stage2 A6 ( I know it's heavier than S4 and no DSG), but I don't think I could keep it up with stock S6/7, not to mention RS7

A coworker has access to his parents S7 and well that thing is fast as balls, couldnt imagine an RS7.

Some of these posts always remind me of similar ones on a Evo or STi forum. At some point no matter how much your car is modified there will always be someone faster from factory.

Whats next? Comparison to a Ferrari?

oh we had fun on the maxima boards about this one.. the maxima that was used for fast and furious .. it had a Stillen Vortech Supercharger but only ran 14's .. but according to Jesse it was running 10s

Dude our cars can launch very well which can get us to 60 pretty quick, especially stage 2, but after that its game over versus a car like the RS7 because we just don't have the hp.

He mentioned that he was running MS109, but switched over to another fuel that was supposed to be better.
I can't recall the name though :/

+1 the RS7 is a beast and hard to compare with the S4 with that being said I would never buy one there crazy expensive and I'd rather have a nice DD ( s4, sq5 ) and a car for fun ( GTR, Vette ) then pay 105-120k for the RS7 but that's just me its not really practical it's fast going straight but I'm sure isn't the best handling car coming from the reviews I've seen
