For anyone needing maintenance manual for S4

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I find that a lot of people look for very specific answers that can be found by simply grabbing a maintenance manual and looking. Ive been using this source for a bit and figured I would contribute to the community and share with everyone:

    http://audis4.xl.lc/

If you want to download it to save to your machine:

    http://52.90.47.68/audi_s4_manual.zip

    Thanks

First link worked for me, but second link had a virus in it when I downloaded it and the zip file had lots of cookies, google analytics, and other stuff not related to a manual.

The second is a copy of the first. Does not have a virus in it... What Is your virus scanner telling you?

Second is not a copy of the first, it is a zip for download and when Norton 360 was scanning it, it found something, I didn't bother to look at the name, just deleted the entire zip file.

It is a zipped file containing the exact html pages that the website contains (hence the google analytics stuff). Not sure what your Norton found, but I can assure you there are no viruses in that file. Simply extract it and open index.html. I just ran a virus scan on the zip and it was fine...

Use the website until it goes down or save it to your machine and always have it. Your choice really.

I bookmarked to share in the future. Questions about service manual or ones asking about stuff that requires it pop up daily.

First link works, second doesn't work for me on windows. Unzipped and just has a ton of folders that go nowhere and don't contain any related info.

Both links work perfectly fine for me... except viewing the page offline from the ZIP file isn't 100%.. the pictures are either broken or swapped for whatever reason.

But there is no virus in the ZIP:

The download zip works fine for me, though as Notorious pointed out the pics don't come through, but the text is all there. Click on the file index.html for the data.

You may try it with a different browser. Are you extracting it or running it straight from the ZIP file?

Unzipped. I am using Mac so it defaults to safari. Haven't tried changing the settings so it opens with Firefox (which is the other browser I run).

I am going to absorb the cost to keep the website up for a month or two. Itll be my contribution to the community. I will change the ZIP file link and host it somewhere free when that time comes..

is this an official service document or just generic? it really doesn't go into much detail about the braking system.

I have air in the system and have tried all methods of bleeding without success, and this does not go into much detail other than the start bleeding furthest to closest.

i don't think so, i briefly looked at a few things, it seemed to lack a lot of stuff.
