B8 a4 brake kit questions

I am trying to figure out if the B8 a4 factory brakes (calipers,rotors) fit on the b6 a4 without me modifying anything?. I just want to upgrade my brake kit can't afford aftermarket bbk right now. So I figure I could just upgrade to a better factory brake kit.

The hub size is different on the B8s so the rotors will not fit. The calipers do bolt on however. There are lots of threads regarding OEM brake upgrades. The most common are B5 S4, B7 A4, or B6/B7 S4. Any of these will not require any modification. Search around for a bit and you will find all the info.

The b8 fronts use the same 321mm rotor as the b7 fronts. Otherwise they're bolt on. Make sure the calipers you get come with brake lines as the caliper side fitting is different on the b8 brakes.

You can't use B8 rotors though as the hubs offset is different and wont work.
