I stand corrected. A6 front fenders aluminum? And they're identical.

Fenders are steel i think bro. I believe only the hood was aluminum. The a8 d2's are full aluminum though right? That must be wicked.

Thats the only car left on my list. Either a really nice a8 d2 or a manual s8 d2, from europe. Hard to get a nice one for cheap.

The fenders must be what I was thinking of. Aluminum on the allroad.

S8 also has stainless exhaust, so cool.

I myself am looking at D2s. Probably just going to do an A8 because you can get nice ones for 2k, pocket the extra 6k for a manual trans, RNS-E, exhaust, coils and done. S8 seats if they can be found.

Widebody yes, V6 no. Front subframes were also aluminium on all widebodies, rear sub frame is also aluminium on the S6 and RS6.

I will be swapping my front spindles for aluminum and seeing about modding the front alu subframe to fit the allroad in the future. It's my understanding that the rear subframe matches already.
