    2006 A3 Shortage EPC

I was wiring the light plug for front bumper lights because one of them were broken, and I forgot to disconnect the battery and got a shortage. Now I can hardly start the car, only starts if I crank it for a while, and the car will run very rough. I get a check engine and EPC light, and I get the codes P2294 (Fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit) and P0657 (Actuator supply voltage circuit/open). Does anyone know a possible solution or what needs to be fixed/replaced?

I think I found the problem! Disconnected the MAF sensor and it started and ran perfectly! I will order a new sensor, and I'll let you guys know if it really worked.

A new MAF sensor didn't work, I also changed the fuse box and that didn't do anything either.

Please let me know if you guys have any idea on what could be wrong.

I'm having the same issue in my 06 a3. I've fixed and checked everything and starting to think it is ecu related. Any guess on cost if reprogramming an ecu if I have a spare?
