Calling all Blackvue 650 2-Ch and Avant/Allroad owners

I have a Blackvue 650 2-Ch on order to upgrade my one channel. I started looking at the trim to see how to run wire to the back and I noticed that it might get tricky around the actual back gate. I don't want stray wire with a lot of slack exposed, so it looks like the option is the black hinge with what looks like a channel running in it. Anyone ever run cable through this? Any tips on how to remove the trim and run a wire through?

Alright then! I guess I will be going about taking off the liners myself. I was also considering getting the custom fit shades on the car, but I don't think it will be possible with a camera install on the back window. Ever get the feeling that you're talking to yourself? Anyway, I will try to post pictures during the install to maybe help a future installer.

To be honest, I'm not sure how many people have dropped their liner. The guys who would know best are the ones who swapped out the allroad roof rails for avant ones, but I think they are kind of few and far between. You could probably get more info in the avant only section.
