    01E 6 speed gearbox form a 2005 Allroad

    Up for sale a 6 speed manual transmission from a 2005 2.7t Allroad. It comes with the clutch & flywheel, pedals, clutch line/cylinders. I also have the shifter linkage but I don't have the shifter box.

    WOULD THIS TRANS WORK FOR SWAPPING MY RS6?... OR DOES IT NEED TO BE OLDER?....oops , sorry for caps , too lazy to retype..lol

    You will need a rear diff fron an Allroad. The final drives are not the same. If you don't change it, you might break the center diff after a while.

    It will work but you will need a diff from an Allroad. There is a guy who has one not far from here

    i'm seriously interested ..i'm dropping another used/inexpensive auto back in for a bandaid for now ,in my rs6 to fix a slip as i save up for the manual swap..i need to see whats left $ after i'm done putting another slushbox back in..i'll know soon..ty , steve-o

    It is wtill available.Next month, I will be driving to Chicago and Miami after. If you are interested, I could trow everything in the trunk. The gearbox also comes with the oil cooler lines. I forgot to mention it.

    sweet ..if all goes right i could maybe meet in chicago..it's quite a drive but i like to drive ..assuming i get my trans sorted by then ..i dunno if i could fit it in the trunk of my rs6 though..so maybe take my truck anyways..lol .. i will keep in touch .. ty ,much ..i will also see what else i need to source still..the rs6 would be so fun as a manual.. even just using the manual paddles it gives you a taste of what it would be like..very silly it didnt come with a manual ...wish i could use the rs4 motor with my rs6 turbo set up and the rs4 manual trans ...would be prefect

    It would be a nice upgrade... I don't get that "slushbox only" option in north america. In Europe, they have it all... You chose what you want

    shocked you still have this.. i may be in play after the 1st of the month ..could meet in chicago..i'm in northern michigan..swapped a used auto back in my rs6 for now and it's working great ..but the manual is still my ultimate goal ...

    You guys realize it's an Allroad transmission right? Fabulous deal...but it'll be like crawling around all day in 3rd gear. An Rs6 w/ Allroad gearing!..? Don't.
