    I know no details, just saw a FB post by his brother that Redneck Truck just passed away.

    He hasn't been as active here in recent times, recently captivated by his TDIs (Touareg and tt conversion)
    But if you've been on this forum for awhile, you'll know he's been a major contributor over the years.
    His write-up on converting his 4.2 to a 6sp gave me the confidence to tackle the same on my S6.
    I was blessed to meet him after moving to Texas.

    Godspeed Redneck Truck. You will be missed.

    I just saw this too. I cannot believe this. He and I talked alot via the FB C5 group, super smart guy and really helpful.

    Really shocked by this.

    Bloody hell that really sucks never met him but we texted back and forth a few times. So sad, thanks for sharing. Definitely praying for his family and friends.

    I just saw this as well, discussed 4.2 and TDi's with him over FB many many times. According to the TDi board Bryan passed away on Jan 6th as the result of a motorcycle accident. I don't really know anymore details than that, but I'm shocked to say the least. RIP :(

    Huge loss.

    And yes, don't ride bikes. I sold mine when somebody pulled out with their car on a parking lot literally 20 ft in front of me AFTER looking straight at me coming and not registering. I hit the car a slow speed since there was simply no room to effectively brake and nothing happened to me but it was a wake up call to the fact that most people simply don't see anything narrower than 5ft on the road. But I do ride bicycle A LOT though so I am still tempting fate here.
