I'm putting new Koni yellows on my car. It had non sport struts / shocks and I had a shop put stasis lowering springs on. Today I am putting Koni yellows on with my stasis springs. The shop that put the stasis springs on had the factory struts so the strut bottoms were level with the bottom of the lower strut mount(pinch clamp for my lack of knowing the correct term) but it looks like there is a spot below the strut mount pinch clamp that sticks out like it's designed to support the bottom of the strut.
Which is the correct mounting position for the front struts? Please help me out.
