Headlights suggestions

Hi, first post here (hope it's not the last one!)

Just got my new S4 B8.5 and started my project: badgless, slight euro tinted taillights, wrapped satin flatblack, rs4 grill (to ne installed soon)

I'm going for the "murdered" style and would love to blacken the interior of my headlights (basically anything not black must be gone) but I don't want to affect the quality/quantity of lights so an overlay is out of the question and painting reflectors is also a no-no. I want something professional and legal.

Contacted my "lighting" guy and he told me he cannot touch those headlights since they are permasealed and cannot be opened with conventional techniques (read: oven).

So I'm looking for suggestions: either custom plug-and-play headlights or a good place you could recommend that can help?

I'm in Montreal, Canada. If international I'll use shipping!

You can open the lights - they are not permasealed. Plenty of people have blacked out the amber

According to the link below, the B8 lights are a pain, but the B8.5 like yours are easier. The ONEighty lights look amazing. Their website has lots of pics of blacked out housings.

Love the other option but not interested in removing headlights and shipping them. Or do they do a core swap deal?

Really easy to install, it's pre-cut so it takes out a lot of hassle. I also got the instal kit that included a lubricant spray (just soap and water) and a squeegee

I've looked at the front amber overlays. I have the premium shield bra on my headlights but these should adhere to that just fine. Your pic has sold me. Although I think I'm going to order the one that goes all the way to the top.

I have the grfxstore overlays on my reverse lights in medium smoke and they are well done.

Update: I finally bought e-codes that I'm sending directly to 180NYC for a custom job

Will post results somewhere next month (hopefully) !

Wait u bought ecodes to get customized??? Why dont u just customize ur N/a specs?

Fair question. Two main reasons:

1) I couldn't depart from my car long enough to send the lights and wait to receive them, leaving me with no car. Plus I wanted to have two sets in case I get pulled over too much so I can switch back to the OEM ones.
2) I really wanted the clear side reflectors and NOT cover/painted one. The e-codes were, as far as I could find, the only way to go.

Plus, you know, better lighting quality :)

I visited one eighty as well to do my B8 lights. They can suggest some pretty good ideas but it's just tough to picture what it will look like. I e seen their work on a lime green S5 or A5 and it's really amazing to see in person. Def post pics of what you ended up getting.
