:: ECS Tuning :: B6 A4 1.8T ECS Tuning Vent Pod Boost Gauge Kit

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

Most aftermarket boost gauges are clearly poorly designed add-ons. The dial numbers and lighting don't match the factory gauges, and most utilize a mounting system that plainly looks out of place.

We think your boost gauge should be easy to see, & match the design of your interior. That's why we've developed a tasteful, center-vent mounted boost gauge kit.

The gauge design blends with other dash gauges to give it a classy, factory-installed look. We've even prepared a detailed photo tutorial outlining the installation, so the fun can start as soon as you open the box.

How much boost are you running?

Ecs is great, don't get me wrong, have bought from them over last ten year numerous times, however this is way over priced. Save nearly $100 and buy vent pod and exact same gauge on ebay. The ebay vent pod is a few mm small for the gauge, took 2 minutes with a Dremel sanding drum to open it up.

I LOVE mine. The install was really annoying, but that's what it takes to do it right. The only real complaint I have is that the lighting on the gauge is far brighter than the factory gauges.

My roommate picked up a b6 a4 identical to mine, and asked why his was missing the factory boost gauge mine has. I thought it was hysterical.

Appreciate the feedback. There's no modification needed to our vent. Not everyone wants to have to modify something you buy just to save some money. Not to mention we support our products 100% so if there is ever an issue with our gauge, gauge pod, wiring etc all you need to do is give customer service a call. The likely hood of a vendor from eBay helping you out after you modify their product is not very likely. But you're free to purchase what ever you like.

Thanks for the feedback and the order! Glad you are loving the factory look! You can get the gauge to closer match the dash by dimming down the dash lights. Since your gauge should be powered/activated by the light switch this will dim or brighten the gauge as well. If I remember correctly I believe its the + and - symbols on the right hand side.
