:: ECS Tuning :: B7 A4 2.0T ECS Tuning Vent Pod Boost Gauge Kit

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!

Most aftermarket boost gauges are clearly poorly designed add-ons. The dial numbers and lighting don't match the factory gauges, and most utilize a mounting system that plainly looks out of place.

We think your boost gauge should be easy to see, & match the design of your interior. That's why we've developed a tasteful, center-vent mounted boost gauge kit.

The gauge design blends with other dash gauges to give it a classy, factory-installed look. We've even prepared a detailed photo tutorial outlining the installation, so the fun can start as soon as you open the box.

Jason, what are the connections at the back of the gauge like?

If I bought this kit and put the gauge in an AWE vent gauge "holder/mount", would it fit? Like are they the same dimensions?

Well if you already have the vent gauge from AWE you wouldn't buy this kit because then you would have 2 vent pods. The ECS gauge is 45 mm so as long as the AWE vent pod is for a 45 mm gauge you will be fine.

Edit: just noticed you linked to another kit, disregard the first part of this then. Everything else holds true though.

There is a kit for 189 that says digital gauge and shows the vent pod, then a kit for 119 that says electronic gauge but doesn't show the vent pod. When you say "kit" is the vent pod included in both kits and the gauges are different?

Gauges are the same. One kit includes a vent pod and the other doesn't. Wording is a bit funky "digital" should be removed and electronic should only be used. I can have the wording edited.

If the AWE pod is made for a 45mm gauge the kit you purchased from us will install obviously it wont work if the pod holder calls for a larger gauge.

Ok thanks for clarifying. When flipping through the pics of the 119 one, there is one showing the gauge mounted in the vent which made me think it was just a difference in the gauge.

Likely was there just to so what it looks like installed in the vent pod. But I'll have that removed as well to avoid confusion.
