Trunk Issue

Yesterday I opened and closed my trunk and it made a pretty horrible clicking noise as if it wasnt latching. I tugged on the door to make sure it was closed and it was. I did this a bunch of times, even tried slamming it closed a few times. Regardless I am getting the trunk open message when driving. Even weirder is that the music wont play with it like this. Leading to a very boring drive.

Any ideas? I am out of town but plan on bringing it into the dealer if it doesnt fix itself

A solution that used to work for the A6 is

1. open the trunk when the car is locked
2. unlock the car
3. close the trunk

Worth a try, but yours might be a bit more complicated.

Lol. Yeah. It's usually empty. And was in this case
