    S4 B8.5 exhaust question

    Hey Guys. I'm looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my s4 b 8.5 that sounds similar to the rs4//rs5 with the growl. I don't really care about loudness I just want it to sound more similar to the rs4 growl, is there any out there that can do that? sorry I don't know too much about the aftermarket exhausts for s4 I just got mine ! :(

    Thanks so much if someone can help me, please show me what it sounds like as well.

    milltek will get the closest to v8 sound, it will never be the same though.

    I had a B7 S4 with Labree full exhaust (exhaust manifold back) and loved the V8 sound! I have a B8 S4 6MT with AWE Touring (stock downpipes) and it sound great! Its not the V8, but the supercharged V6 sounds great. its not super "throaty", but it really sounds good. More refined that than obnoxious. I'll probably be removing the stock resonators on the stock downpipes soon to give it a deep tone at low RPMs.

    Keep in mind this is a completely different motor. I see V6 mustangs and camaros with exhaust where the owner thinks he/she has a V8 and its sounds like crap!

    This. Miltek has the deepest sound.

    You can find all this info easily online by just listening to clips of various exhausts on the S4 and decide for yourself which one you like most. Just spend some time on youtube...
    Also - this is NOT a naturally asperated V8 engine, it will NEVER sound like one. - but that being said, there are many exhausts that sound phenominal and exotic on this car... none of them make it sound like the old V8's though... two completely different instruments.

    AWE has in my opinion the best sounding exhaust for this platform...
