    Q7 Rear end noise

I have a 2010 Q7 and at lower speeds it has a popping/ thumping noise coming from the rear axel. It has progressively gotten worse and is now intolerable. Have opened up the rear tub and taken it out, made sure everything was snug and it's made absolutely no difference. Any ideas?

A wheel bearing issue is my guess. It also could be something as little as bolts needing to be tightened.

Does it make those sounds at low speed while cruising? Or going around a corner? Going over bumps? Can you describe the conditions in more detail?
