Squealing noise on start up until car warms up. Pinned the noise to the A/C. It goes away when the car warms up or when I turn A/C off. Anybody experience this before?

I'm a geography student with 4/10 knowledge of cars. But okay I'll buy a belt and tensioner. Thanks for the extremely helpful advice. These types of responses help out the community a lot!

I'm a Masshole through and through.

Silver arrow; you need to put more miles on your car so you can feel the pain that the rest of us have felt. There is no adjustment as it's an automatic belt tensioner and it uses a serpentine belt, not a v-belt.

One such joy of ownership is putting the front end in service position to replace the belt and tensioner...

I would also ask for the Goode homolosine projection instead.

Done! Now what oil is good for our cars? And can I put regular gas in my turbocharged car?

(Complete sarcasm if you can't tell. I know sarcasm doesn't transfer well through the interwebz)
