Is the stage 2 APR upgrade worth it

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
To be clear, i don't know shit about this stuff. I have a 2012 S4 MT. I did the APR Stage 1 ECU chip when i bought it a few months ago. Is it worth doing the Stage 2 , what is difference between Stage 2 and i've seen Stage 2 +?

    Thanks.

There is no stage 2+ in apr.

Value is up to you. Wow factor from stock to stage 1 is way more than 1 to 2

They are the ones that called it Stage 2+ and later dropped the "+". In the end though, no difference (pulley and tune).

As for OP and "is it worth it"? Only you can answer that. More torque is worth it to me and I haven't heard of anyone that regretted going from 1 to 2.

Yes, it's worth it. There's a million threads on Stage 2 with many, many, MANY satisfied drivers. Also consider the APR TCU tune with the Stage 2 ECU. Both combined make a dramatic difference in how this car performs.

Yes, Stage 2 wakes up the mid rpm range where you will really appreciate the added torque.
