    Seems like a decent price. I have the TT-RS which is nearly identical (perforated leather all around instead of the just the sides). Fantastic mod. You're constantly using the steering wheel when driving so you get a lot of good use out of it :)

    I have a 2005 S4 (b6) without Audio controls on the steering wheel.

    Can I install this wheel in my car, does it fit?
    And if it fits, is it possible to hook up the Audio controls?

    PhatBaja, these are questions that I do not know, however, I would try a search here on Audizine and if you still come up blank, give a call to Europrice and ask, they should know.

    It's not a bad deal, and the wheel looks great. It's just that unless the harness has been re-wired, it isn't plug and play for a B7. Good luck though!

    is the rewiring a pita? when you take off the existing wheel can you use that harness?

    You can use the existing harness. You just have to relocate a couple of the wires to different pins I believe. There is a thread buried somewhere here in Audizine that explains it. I bought my airbag already wired from Europrice so I haven't done it myself

    Thanks geebus, the wheel is very nice and a great mod. It comes with two harnesses, one of them should be a plug and play, never tried it!

    Below are the directions, found in a search on Audizine, for the TT's harness. If anyone is interested in doing a rewire, this should be the same. I will post the harness numbers for the two that I have.





    "OK, here's the procedure to rewire the harness for the TT MKII MFSW. The harness has part # 8J0 971 589 B.

    MAKE SURE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY BEFORE DOING ANY WORK WITH THE AIRBAG!

    The 12 pin plug connector (yellow) on the TT MKII harness needs to have three of its wires re-assigned. Open the cover on the back of the harness plug. Looking at the plug connector from behind as if you were going to plug it in, there are 2 rows of slots, which we will number
    1-2-3-4-5-6
    7-8-9-10-11-12

    3 through 6 are for the airbag - DO NOT TOUCH!

    7 = Brown
    8 = Yellow (horn)
    9 = Purple
    10 = Red

    1, 2, 11, 12 are empty.

    Push out the purple lock in the harness and then release the appropriate wire to be re-assigned.

    You need to move the following wires:
    move the Brown wire from 7 >to> 1
    move the Yellow wire from 8 >to> 2
    move the Red wire from 10 >to> 8

    All MFSW controls including the horn should now work. You may also need to trim the tabs from the sides of the plug to be able to insert into the S/C ring socket. You'll know what I mean when you see it.

    Sold my A6 back in 2010, this has been sitting in the closet in bubble wrap, never installed and the Rotora BBK is sitting in plastic in my garage as well, spring cleaning in Winter a few years late..Give me a call if interested..714-872-1788
