Latent HR Lowering Module Props

Have always been a fan of the easy PNP and drop adjustments of this little jewel. But for the past 1 1/2 winters have left the S7 sitting on her lowered thrown in the garage during ski season.

This morning, juggling various life and weather forced me to put on the winter wheelset and rubber, and to pop out the HR Module for the next three months.

Raised up to stock heights and mounted on skinny pedestrian flat wheels makes her about as attractive and looser than the only saloon girl in Tombstone.

I have run lowered without an issue even in winter. My S6 is my DD. Remember, most of the time, roads are actually plowed and clear. For those times when you need extra height, just put it into comfort and raise the car up from there. Most of the time that you need this kind of clearance, you won't be driving too fast anyway, and your car will stay at the raised ride height.

So does Comfort = OEM height with HR module regardless of where screws are set? I'm at roughly 2 1/2 fingers between winter rubber and wheel well with the module out.

Put stock wheels on the S6 and got rid of the drop last night to trade back in. Couldn't believe how ugly it looked with that huge gap to my eyes up close... lol

The S7 still does it for me, but an RS7 in Nogaro or Nardo is like Viagra for the Soul.

That's because you disappeared on us. A handful of people have gone from S6 to RS7 since you've been gone. I know another member who has one on order (besides myself).

Nothing fancy. Daytona, carbon w/ Quattro, sports exhaust, 20" wheels, power doors. Supposedly arrives next month. It just popped up on the stealership's website so I have a VIN now.

No comfort with HR is still lowered from stock comfort mode by the same amount. But then you can hit the "raise" switch and take it up higher. Might be higher that stock comfort mode "raised".

A little ricey (especially with the dark blue), but it's an M3...
