I see you are gonna go with H&R coil overs I would recommend Vogtlands as they are less known but have a lot less documented issues and better adjustment. Also how many miles were on this car?

    I thought the same thing.

OP, you are going to have to look to another turbo if you want those power levels.

Interested to follow the progress though! Shop is letting you use their space, but you guys are doing the work?

500 wtq on stock tranny and most likely an older 6 AT..

    500 awhp on a k04 variant

Engine internals all sound good but I don't see you making past 400 awhp without going with something along the lines of a gtx3071 / efr6758

^ This. And I'd strongly urge a 6MT with a performance clutch if you're going to be putting down that much power. I doubt the 6AT can take it.

Interested to see how this will turn out. Anyone try to push the limits of the 6AT? Or OP, will you have a 8AT in there instead?

The Quattro system may be the same, but the S4 "automatic" is a dual clutch not a traditional automatic.

    Great thread, in!

I did not realize the driveline parts from the A4/S4 were different and interchangeable. So the A4 you got is a non-quattro model? Where are you sourcing the below parts, and do you need a rear subframe due to the Quattro conversion?

Stage 2 - Upgraded AWD Conversion
    Audi S4 B8 Driveshaft - $800
    Audi S4 Rear Axles - $300
    Audi S4 Rear Differential - $800
    Audi A4 Rear Subframe + Misc Mounts/Brackets - $200
    Audi A4 Quattro Transmission - $700
