    PSA ebay cross bars

I recently picked up an allroad and have been looking around for roof racks / cross bars. I have the yakima whispbar setup on my S4 and it is quite nice with almost no additional wind noise. However, 400 bucks for cross bars when there already are raised roof rails on the allroad seemed pretty steep. I gave these ebay cross bars a try - http://www.ebay.com/itm/371331027439...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT - they arrived today, installed easily, and seem to fit fine. The locks are not really legit as the covers are easily pried off locked or unlocked. So if you're worried someone might come with an allen key and snipe your cross bars at night, this might not be the rack for you.

I know a couple of others on here are looking for racks so these might be worth a look

If anyone wants to sell me an interior, or at least front seats, because of this tremendously helpful PSA for the community, PM me!

    Cheers

I have a set of them. Caution: because of the flimsy clamps you need two different length aluminum bars to maximize the engagement of the clamp. A long one in the front and a shorter one in the rear. I have been meaning to buy a 97cm set and trim down to fit the forward location. I think I have the 92cm currently and my box bounced due to flex in the front bar.
