I stretched to almost buy a set of HRE's but the tires were 285/35 R888's.... which gave me a shit ton of wheel gap in the rear and i can't go any lower lol. without the tires it wasn't a great deal so i passed.

You may be correct! If I can get over my Bronchitis, I'm going to pull them this weekend, and go back on stocks, which does not hurt my feelings at all. The BLK will look sexy on display in the garage until someone picks them up

There are a couple cars in NYC on BLK's already, for what it's worth. Beauty of a 3 piece wheel is that even if you can't avoid a pothole from hell, a lip is easy and relatively cheap to replace :)

Miles beat me to it lol! These are tough, and I did not rubber band them like most. And repair is quite easy. Some lesser wheel you'd possibly have to dispose of.

If you did go TE, I'd be happy to source those as well.
