    CTS DIY info?

I did search, but didn't find anything on replacing the CTS. Is there an illustrated DIY that anyone knows of? I know people say it requires some contortionist skills to get to, but I haven't even been able to find the damn thing. I know it's on the back of the engine, but where specifically is it located and what's the best way to access/replace it?

slightly towards passengers side on back of engine. hard to see in the car; the wiring harness has a huge bundle that runs across right over it and there is a vacuum line that runs over top of it as well.

green thing here. yours might not be green? I think some stock were black but I might be wrong on that.

as far as DIY I don't have one handy. No idea how people change that damn thing in the car. which is unfortunate because I had to ziptie mine in when reinstalling the engine because the clip broke and now it drips slowly and I cant reach the damn thing to fix it

Thanks, that's very helpful. That looks like the new CTS I bought. I had one person suggest that it's best to access from below with the passenger side heat shield removed. Looking at your picture, that seems logical.

Is the clip in your picture? How did it function?

SAI valves/hoses make it really hard to reach from the top,

I suggest completely draining your coolant to change it , as "swapping" the sensor quickly for the new one can make quite a mess if you take too long to do it

You can kinda see it in my pic above if you look closely; the opening of the C shape is towards the driver side (left side of pic)
