    Hey all,
I am selling my Brembo 17Z calipers. I purchased these off a fellow forum member but ended up selling my car before installing them. I'm asking $600 OBO.

Damn those are clean. Those also have the crossover tubes on them which are $100 alone. I dont believe rockauto comes with crossover tubes. You have to source your own.

Crossover tube is the tube on the right hand side of the first caliper that goes from front to back. These are needed I believe so you can run the left caliper on the right and the right on the left due to the size of the pistons (small to big) in the calipers.

I thought each caliper would only work on one side? What would make it fit better on one side vs the other??

Staggered piston sizes. Because the Cayenne has calipers on the leading edge of the rotor, and the S4 has them on the trailing edge to get around this is to mount the right caliper on the left side and vice-versa. Then to switch the bleeder and Crossover tube. I could be wrong on this and if you want to talk about it just PM me as I dont want to fill this guys thread with non for sale information.

GLWS they look to be in amazing condition!

    Yup.

Everyone who is asking WAY to much for them...

If they are not showing up on rock auto, then look here. Lots of different places are selling the same re-manufactured calipers.

This is what I paid from rock auto a month ago......

I was implying that ~$150 INCLUDES the CORE and SHIPPING. See for yourself....................................

    Now please and politely GTFO.

Have you seen how pitted up those remans can be?

Id say $400 is the going rate for used 17z calipers. $200 for the powdercoating plus all the work involved to rebuild, crossovers, new seals... This is not an unreasonable price!!!!

You posted a link to a ebay seller selling the calipers for $420 shipped, and that doesn't include the body work, powder coating or crossover tubes like the OP has with his. His price is also "best offer."

If you don't like someone's price, keep it to yourself.

I found 17z's at a junk yard for a steal. Would I go to someone's sale thread where they clearly put in much effort to powder coat and rebuild the caliper and muddy it by saying "I can get remans for less"? Obviously not as they don't include everything these do. Real work went into these, especially them being a bright ass colour.

    So pretentious.

    vavJETTAw36 you tell em'!

What I don't understand is: Who has so much free time that they lurk around the internet, policing the classifieds, to make sure that people, whom they have never and will never meet, don't get a bad deal on an item that they have no intention of purchasing themselves? You know how supply and demand works right? If my price is too high, nobody will buy it; no need to fret! And, as others have said, a lot of work has gone into these. I feel that my price is fair. Anyways...

I understand that you are really pushing this issue, but you fail to mention that the reman's do not come with the following:

2 x 95535196100 (cross-over pipes) shipped to your Pullman WA Zip Code from ECS tuning (cheapest price out there on these) $69.44
You really should replace those shitty oversized (too long) cardone bleeder valves with the authentic Brembo (93035191900) ones, unless you like stripped threads/leaks...so that now brings your total from ECS tuning to $110.78 shipped to your address

So the total for you would for 2 cardone calipers, pad mounting hardware, brembo cross-over lines, and bleeders: $410 for a set with shitty paint that can be installed. Oh and the cross-over lines are on back order for a month...I hope this puts an end to your trivial contributions.

Now...go find a powdercoater that is going to do complete job of disassembling the calipers, blasting them, and placing the decals for less then the OP is asking...

No. Search 17z/18z. You will see there is a crazy amount of info on this swap. You will need rotors, mounting hardware, lines and either wear sensors or the adapter that plugs into the stock wear sensor to fool it into thinking the pads are fine.

    OP, nice looking calipers.
