    B8.5: OEM Allroad Axleback Question

    Hello fellow longroofers,

    Question:
I noticed my stock/OEM axleback exhaust is stamped "Eberspaecher" (stamped on the muffler canister closest to the front) rather than Audi/VW and the 4 rings. I checked under a 2016 Allroad (at the dealer) and that muffler was stamped with Audi/VW and the 4 rings. I'm wondering if the shop put an aftermarket piece on my car or perhaps Eberspaecher was helping Audi for a brief period during production.
If it's not too much trouble would anybody be able to post what brand their stock/OEM axleback is stamped with?

Vehicle: 2015 Audi Allroad Technik (Canada)

    Backstory:
Long story short, was rear ended, exhaust tips were bent so the shop replaced the tips. Unfortunately Audi's repair procedure for replacing tips is to cut the old ones off (because the axleback portion of the exhaust is all 1 piece from the factory) and clamp new ones on. After inspecting the job they did (the new tips aren't nearly as nice as the factory tips, minor differences, oh well) I noticed the muffler near the rear axle on the axle back portion of the exhaust is stamped with "Eberspaecher" ...so I thought I'd do some investigating.

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Dealer confirmed it is an OEM piece that came on the car from the factory.
Audi hired Eberspaecher to build some exhaust components for them.
