    Sunroof Sluggish and Stuck Open

So I opened my sunroof last night, opened extremely sluggishly, and took approximately 30 seconds to a minute to fully open and then close. This morning I tested it to see if it had fixed itself- no luck, and of course it's 10 degrees outside. Currently the sunroof is stuck open a few inches and will either move extremely slowly, or won't budge at all. The dial for each setting also won't work properly (ie: when I set it to setting 2, it will open equivalent to 4, when on closed, it will open equivalent to 2, or something along those lines). Is there any way to close it manually? What else can I try?

The cold does some crazy things to cars. I've had some odd things happen when those temps drop. I would put the car in the garage, get it warm and see if that works and then keep it closed. If it doesn't, the motor might be giving out or the tracks need to be cleaned and greased.

this happens to me intermittantly - curious to hear what people have to say.
I've found that cleaning the tracks helps a lot with this issue, and also providing a little elbow grease as it closes

B7 has emergency manual operation. Don't know about B8. What does the owner's manual say?

Don't have an owner's manual. I got it fixed by lubricating it a little and using some elbow grease like those above said. Not opening it again, even if to test, until Summer. Lesson learned haha
