The ALLROAD is a nice car. No doubt about it. So is the A4. Everytime I drive the ALLROAD as a loaner the suspension seems a lot tighter than the same year A4. Does the allraod have a different suspension? Does anyone know?

The allroad has taller springs which raise the ride height. The dampers are a bit stiffer than the base A4 to prevent excessive body roll with the extra height. The wheel track is also wider, I believe on par with the A5.

What I found test driving the allroad was it seemed to be very tight when driving ~30mph through curvy streets with smooth steering input. Now owning the car, I do notice significant body roll at 40+mph and with aggressive corners and sudden changes in steering. I don't have a way to compare this to the A4.
