    Help, Windshield Washer fluid leak

I tried a search but couldn't find anything about it this model. I have a leak which appears every day the car is parked just under the driver side behind the wheel well. I thought it was condensation or AC initially then it was there at times I didn't expect it to be there. Smelled it and it was not anything oily.
Then the windshield fluid warning light came on. Didn't connect the two at first. Then I put in a gallon of fluid, a day later, the light came on again.

I have a 2013 allroad which I assume is pretty much the same car so thought I would post here. Anybody run into this and have some suggestion for how to investigate without going to a dealer or mechanic? I saw some other posts in other body styles about cracked housings or leaks in the headlight washer housing. It's annoying and just in time for the Northeast winter to start...
I didn't want to start pulling stuff apart if the other body styles have a completely different kind of issue.

    Thanks!

    anybody??
Or at least can someone confirm if the 2013 allroad body is similar enough to previous body styles to equate the issues previous gens have had?

Pull fender liner back, just a few fasteners holding it on. The reservoir is right behind it. Might be that a hose or the pump worked itself loose.

My wife's 2014 A4 started leaving puddles under the passenger side headlight. I did some reading and found that this is not uncommon and comes from the headlight washers.

The other day I removed the headlight and could clearly see washer fluid residue on a seam of the headlight washer unit. I made the executive decision to disable the washers, so I pulled the other headlight as well and found where the tubing comes in over the driver's side wheel well. I separated the connection there and then removed all of the tubing that serves both washers - very easy. Lastly, I inserted a short section of 5/16" stainless steel rod into the supply line and fastened it with a 13.3mm Oetiker clamp. Problem solved.

    Hope that helps.

Just to let you know. You need to remove the fender to acces it :) And to remove the fender you need to loose the bumper and remove the headlight. Funnybunny ! If you know how to do it its pretty easy tho.
