    Wheel speed sensor question

Well i changed my FR axle on my 1.8t 2004 6sp. I bought the car not running. So my question is if i put a axle in with a different window count on the reluctor wheel. Would i have any speed signal when i data stream via vcds. All othe 3 match but my FR is zero.
And also i am trying to find one and the compatibility i am being shown is just for a 3.0. I dont know why there would be a difference. Any help would be great thx

I'd check to see if the pick-up is covered in grease and gunk and not able to "see" the reluctor ring as well as if there is a spacing issue between the pick-up and reluctor.

Even if it there is a different number of teeth on the reluctor the ABS ECU should still compute and indicate a speed.

I would think though that the difference between the axle speeds would turn on the ABS MIL...

    Possible dead wheel speed sensor...?
