    Question Local B7 Steering Wheel swap question

    Has anyone local swapped a B7 S4 (tiptronic with paddle shifters) three-spoke steering wheel to B7 A4 that came with a four-spoke steering wheel? I've been getting some conflicting info if the airbag would work fine (plug and play with no issues), or if I would need an airbag adapter to make it work.

    Unfortunately I've only swapped from three spoke to three spoke so I can't speak from first hand experience...but everything I've read on the topic seems to support needing to swap the airbag harness over and that's it...it has been done a bunch though so I'm sure you could find someone with first hand experience
    I'm living for the day I can park something Italian inside of my house.

    Probably get a harness for it and code the airbag control module for the s4 wheel. I could probably probably help you with the coding, I'm in allston.

    3 and 4 spoke airbags are not interchangeable, not only fit, but I believe wiring is slightly different.
