Solenoid valve (A) for boost pressure control

This error message came up, but only a generic diagnositc tool was used by a Pep Boys tech.

I'm trying to narrow it down as to what part it may need.

Can anyone isolate what it is?

I've read that it could possibly be the N75 frequency control, or the N249 solenoid valve.

    Thanks.

You need a N75. It's under the intake manifold right next to N249. Make sure those electrical plugs are in all the way and that the retainer clip is there. If that's all good, get a new valve it's not uncommon that they fail
