    i'm considering a pre owned 2014 S4...PP, S-Tronic, Rear diff., tuned, 21k miles

    S4 is at a dealership that's a distance away so i'm trying to get enough info from dealer to decide if it's right for me.
    what should I consider "reasonable" wear and/or appearance for the following...
    brake pads
    rotors
    tire tread depth

    what else would you look for or look at before considering this S4?

    of course i have to get service records. Carfax clean.

    i plan on paying for the Audi 300+ point inspection for detailed info but since it would be at MY expense, i'd like to get an idea if it's worth moving forward.

    Push for the dealership to get the S4 CPO'ed, if it hasn't already as it extends your warranty to 100k Miiles

    If it's tuned probably won't get CPO or a power train warranty for that matter.

    that's right. cannot be CPO. and no extended warranty available.

    I don't think I would touch it if it wasn't CPO'd from an Audi dealer. The warranty is important and without it, the car is worth literally thousands less than a car with no warranty at all (eg tuned, likely TD1).

    If it's not TD1 and it still has 2yrs on the warranty, that's not so bad.

    It depends on the deal you're getting on it as well.
