    Time for a boost gauge

Well I have bought the column mount from ecs, and ordered a glowshift boost gauge for it. I know I know, glowshift sucks, shoulda got whatever, blah blah. It's what I could afford right now, later on I will upgrade but I feel it very important to be able to monitor boost. Today I received the gauge, but the vac line is only 6 foot. I need about 9 so I can run it through the fire wall. It's a soft rubber hose also, I'm just looking for an all around upgrade on that, and don't really want to order it. Do you guys know of anyplace that I can buy maybe the plastic vac line? And a brass t fitting? I've checked a few places but I can't find anything

What size is it? Do you happen to know off the top of you head? That is the issue I was running into is not sure what size to use. I think tonight after work I'm just going to take the existing hose that came with it and see if they can match it.

Hey guys, trying to install my boost guage and everything works, and it lights up perfectly. But I am unable to change its color, and it will flicker when I drive. I believe I have hooked it up right, hoping it's not the guage itself but that wouldn't surprise me. Thanks

Vac reading and flickering are 2 seperate systems.

    If the Vac reading works....good.

The flickering would be an electrical issue. Disconnect it, plug off your vac source and just hook the gauge itself directly to the battery and see if it still flickers. If it flickers you have a bad gauge. If it does not flicker then you have a bad 12v source or connection.

There are MANY switched 12V sourced in the fuse panel, just tap out of one of those ;)
