    Vcds codes

So since i bought the car, my 2000 s4 6 speed has always had the airbag light in the dash on. So after determining the dealership was far too expensive to have them look at it i finally got around to borrowing a family members vcds cable and system by ross tech. Long story short i scanned it and came up with the following faults.

Im fairly certain the misfires are old, i deleted some with a regular code reader after replacing my clutch vacuum switch. Also the pump running too long is i believe old as well. I think it is referring to the aux. coolant pump which i already replaced (please correct me if I'm wrong). What I'm curious about is the air bag codes. Anyone know what specific part the code is referring to? Help is much appreciated! Note: only the air bag light was on no check engine or anything else.

Looking back the pump code looks to be something to do with locking maybe the center diff? Would this also be old seeing as there isn't any other lights on?

For fault code 65535 you are going to need a new airbag module. They are expensive new, I would try and find a good used unit. Or a friend that has the same one as yours and see if, it gets rid of your airbag light.

Would they be the same as for a normal a4 as well? Just so i know where to look. Also do you know anything about the 01367 code?

It's for the vacuum pump for your power door locks. If the central locking system functions properly don't worry about it - the vacuum pump gets weak as it ages and can take too much time to operate. If your power locks don't function properly and the code returns after cleared you may have a vacuum leak in the central locking system. Failure of the pump itself is most common cause. Look for a good used part or a part-out.

I'm pretty sure that it could be sourced from an A4 as well. The most important part is to get one that has the same part # as yours. There's potential for errors/codes if you use a different #.
