maybe they will sell us just the straight pipe portion between the tips and the rear diff, or we could always have an exhaust shop make something up lol.

i've only had mine on for a few months, i like the tone of the exhaust so far. maybe when i get bored and want something louder i'll look into this haha.

Yeah, I saw this a couple weeks ago. I wish I saw it sooner and I might have waited for it. I hope they would sell the straight pipe portion as well, but odds are we will hear "You need to buy the whole system etc."

They are late to the game. In terms of propensity to induce ear orgasm, no setup beats high flow cats/downpipes with resonated or unresonated catback from Milltek, depending on your preference for volume intensity. The sound is just raw! All subjective of course.

Who knows what AWE's definition of coming "soon" means...in the meantime, I'm happy with my Touring Edition exhaust, although I admit that my definition of "loud enough" likely differs from some of the other folks here.

I have the touring on my S6 and really enjoy it. I'm not sure I'd want it any louder at this point. Now some high flow cats and downpipes for sure, that's where the power is. APR is supposed to release some and if it is like what they do on the other S models it will include a new tune.

Well, it varies from project to project respectively. But the Track Edition Exhaust is now available, and conversions are available for those wanting to go from Touring to Track!

i know this one just dropped, but anyone else heard this live? Looks like they're just removing the silencers. Any other systems out there with comparable set up? The non res from Milltek has still has rear silencers.

There is a guy near me with one of the old V8 S5's with an AWE Track system installed. Don't know what it sounds like inside, but outside it is glorious. One of the most spectacular sounding exhausts I've ever heard. Apples to oranges comparison.

That car was a NA 4.2L V8. The 4.0T has twin turbos which change the sound characteristics.

Rgr - thus my apples to oranges remark. My non-res Milltek is pretty throaty, but nowhere near the sounds emanating from that NA S5.

Only one center silencer. Love the sound of it in S mode. Not a fan of the sound in D mode.

There were down pipes available for the S5. That's what made the system sound so agro
