Hi, Anyone used the kw adjustable spring kit on their rs5 and spaced the wheels? If so need a few pointers please.

Thanks for that. How low have you gone and whats the ride now like? I imagine comfort mode is now more like Dynamic , Dynamic best saved for driving on a highly polished surface. Lol ! Worth getting adjustable upper control arms, do they help? Cheers.

James, do you have the sports diff on the RS5 like the optional extra they offer on the S? If so, do you have any issues being lowered with it and more specifically, do you even have speed bumps over there like we do here where you can just straddle them?

Point Im trying to get to is if you do have all the above do you have any issues going over the bumps and the sports diff coming into contact with them?

The diff is in between the wheels at the rear so lowered or not it shouldn't bottom out, I've not had any scrapes from the centre of the car which is where you'd expect the speed hump to rub. I do go slowly over speedhumps though and if I suspect it will rub, on those speed mountains, then I would go at it from an angle.

I don't like the design of the ECS intake, it has what appears to be several flaws in it. I'm fitting the Eventuri intake on Thursday which in my opinion is a far superior design and should give better results and will fit your car.

I would the eibach or HR oe springs. Not worth getting involved with kW coil sleeve.

Had a look at that kit and yeah it looks good especially with the red weave! Do you know if it will fit my 2010? Pricey though! Think Ill get the miltek first.

There's absolutely no reason why it shouldn't, it was developed on a pre-facelift car. If in doubt, call or email Bilal at Eventuri, he's very efficient at responding.

As for springs, the H&R OE lower slightly more than Eibach. Here's a few low quality pictures of mine with non aggressive spacers and Eibach springs:

If you decide to go with an air setup, maybe take a look at this S5 and how low it sits...

We have run the KW Height adjustable on a multitude of cars through here and they have just been fantastic. Give us a shout for some quotes!

Not sure it will change the exhaust note but it certainly gives the intake a much deeper growl on wide open throttle. You will hear the intake and exhaust, not just the exhaust.
