Anyone try one? I'm using the DO system, and my wideband does a good job of indicating that my system is functioning.

Just discovered this product, and I am thinking it might be nice to have an actual indicator of the pumps condition.

I'd look at it as another way to monitor, somewhat a failsafe...
    Plus another gauge- because racecar

I believe that flow gauge will work well, but I think AEM makes a failsafe as well. I've looked into it but I'm not sure how it would integrate. On a standalone ECU, you can have the failsafe gauge tapped into the ECU to tell it to switch maps when it detects a flow issue / low methanol condition.

I'm not sure if the ME7.1 ECU can switch maps on the fly.

I'm using an Aquamist version, it's handy for determining the true amount of fluid that is injected. I don't find having a display gauge all that useful since I'm not looking at it when WOT, but being able to log the sensor is useful.

I need to look into that. I agree about the gauge, as I'm thinking about this more from a periodic inspection standpoint. Take a log every couple of weeks (which I do anyway to make sure nothing has gone wrong that I haven't seen), and monitor pump health.

    Thanks for the tip!

MotoIQ has a few different articles about AEM Methanol systems on one of their Evo projects. A few years old but might still give some insight on usability.

I'll check out the link this afternoon.

Main concern is that I had a pump fail when I was on the k03's, wasn't aggressive so I got away without issue.

Now though, I'm relying relatively heavily on it and don't want to risk a failure.

No it degraded until it couldn't even overcome the check valve.

I'm running the new recirculating style pump now, on 100% methanol so I am sure it will eventually degrade in performance.
