Turbo Inlet Hose on stock intake

I have tried searching for the last hour and all I can find are threads from members who have upgraded their entire intake and installed a turbo inlet hose. Is there anyone who has just installed a turbo inlet hose on their stock intake? Is there any benefits to doing this? I am coming from a B8 A4 where it was more beneficial to use the OEM intake with a drop in filter and inlet hose.

Aftermarket inlet hose are more stronger and smoother than oem but to me it is just a show piece , it look nice with aftermarket intake and most of them have added with oem intake with drop-in filter but as far as i know there's no dyno proven benefit of inlet hose

We have many customers running it with the stock intake. Also, the hose can be used in many aftermarket intakes should you choose to upgrade later.

i used to be one of those car crazy guys that would replace anything I could find with an aftermarket part, assuming it was better. like when I replaced all my turbo hoses with Samco hoses, only to have my samcos collapse. (on my 2000 s4)
i will never make the same mistakes. im stock as a rock (until unitronic releases software for later s3's). from what i've gathered in my countless hours on ALL of the forums (even the UK ones) the only beneficial mods for the s3 are a stage 2 chip and downpipe. anything else is just bling, junk, or money waste that could introduce new issues/things to check when something goes wrong.
