    auto to o1a swap 98 30v 2.8

hey guys, new member here. this weekend i swapped my 98 2.8 auto for a o1a from a 97 2.8 12v. i used the trans, clutch (brand new with flywheel) drive shaft, front half shafts, rear diff from parts car. i got another 98 30v manual trans engine harness. got everything done and now the car will not start. i do however have the auto ecu in the car. but did unplug the tcu. ive read a bunch of different forums and what not about this swap and have seen where people said they used the auto ecu and others say it woulnt work. i jumped the starter interlock so the car will crank but will not start. any help would be greatly appreciated.

You used a 12v manual trans? There's differences between the 12v 01A and the 30v 01A transmissions. Something to do with the crank sensor?

    I don't remember too well

yes it has the correct crank sensor hole, and it is out of the 12v parts car i bought. all the wiring and sensors are correct. im not sure if ecu needs to see park or what. was told i could use vag com to recode it
