You already bought the one of the left, right? Either stitch would work for me as long as my shift boot matched. The red adds a little flare.

With the color of your car, white. Red would only be the choice on a red car or with a black and red interior IMO.

I like the red and think it is subtle enough that it looks great on its own. And it coordinates with the S-line door sills, badges, and the MMI/climate control lighting. I did look into the shift boot (I didn't want to do the heat and twist so I wanted the standard or S-line facelift shifter). I don't think Alex from Europrice will mind me posting the information he passed along to me:

Unfortunately there are no standard or S-Line knobs with red stitched boots. The only shift knob for these models with a red stitched boot is the S4 knob. Audi packages all of these shift knobs with a boot together and sadly doesn’t sell the boots or knobs separately.

If you were dead set on a red stitched boot you could purchase an S4 knob and whichever facelift knob you liked. Then swap the shift boots and resell the S4 shift knob. Otherwise you could do a facelift knob with black stitching as well so it didn’t mismatch with the red stitching on the steering wheel.

yep i think so too! thanks for siding with me against these white stitch supremacists lol.

but i just foud this on ebay for less than 30 bucks. hopefully install wont be too difficult.

good choice on the red. white is nice too but personally i like the red stitching better, and if i were to get it in my car i have matching red leather door panels and headrest trim.

yep no ragrets on the red stitch order. its not too often you see it.
ill be getting a matching leather boot and ive found a couple of sellers already.

i found one on ebay for 30. or redline for 50 bucks..
