doing a swap from 04 A6 2.7 in to a 01 allroad, the turbo"s are different, Question is will the down pipes from the 04 A6 fit into my 01 allroad? if not we will put the 01 allroad turbo"s on the 04 A6 eng to be installed into the allroad. (Allroad 170,000 mi A6 eng 60,000 Thanks

They'll fit, later automatic allroads had the same turbo exhaust flange/downpipe setup as late A6s.

Are you doing piggies at the same time? I see you're a new member and want to be sure you're making the most of having the engine out, gutting the pre-cats will free up some nice torque and help the turbos spool quicker but most importantly lower temps and stress a bit too helping them last longer.

So I gutted the pre cats today, 1.5 hrs messy job, This mod can only help , Thanks for the tip
