    Greetings,

Just wanted some input on this issue I've had.. forever.
My S5 pulls to the left. Despite 3 separate alignments (one of which was Audi performed) and new tires, my car will pull slightly to the left....

I have a bent control arm but the dealership said that shouldn't cause any alignment issues. I've never gotten to the root cause of the problem. What should I be looking for?

    Thanks

Have the control arm replaced and avoid your dealer for future service.

Yikes, not sure why they would tell me otherwise. Thank you.

yeah mystery solved here. WOW at the dealer, never cease to amaze me.... once you get the bent control arm replaced report back.
Do you have another audi dealer in your area? Or you should just find a good indy to deal with in the future.

Yup. Think of your suspension as a series of measured straight lines from the car to the wheels. If one of those lines gets bent, it essentially gets shortened from end to end. Shortening one of those lines will change the geometry of the suspension, thus the pulling .

I live in Irvine so San Diego has a dealer somewhere, along with LA I'm sure. CG that makes sense then. I'll update the thread when it's all worked out.

Ive been dealing with the same issue, have had three alignments done and the car still continues to pull left with the steering wheel having a lot of play especially on freeways. This all started when I put new wheels and tires on the car. I have 034 adjustable upper control arms and the alignment done at three different reputable shops which leads me to believe it's not an alignment issue. Looking into new tires now hoping this will cure the pull and help the car feel more planted, with the stock wheels + tires the car felt glued to the ground. Bums me out because the set of tires currently on the car are relatively new and spent $1k on them. Current set up is vmr 810's on Hancook ventus evo 2, 255/35/19. Hoping if I put Michelin pilot super sports on it will fix the problem but with no guarantee of a cure, I am not sure I should go this route yet. The car is on vogtland coilovers, full eurocode sways + links, and alu kreuz, so it should handle great, but the steering issue and continuing to have to recorrect has kind of ruined the experience. If anyone has any other suggestions they would be much appreciated.
