Will 3.0 heads fit a 2.7 block?

Ive heard they do I have heard the don't whats the truth? I looked at the head gaskets couldn't tell if they were exactly the same.

They are not a simple drop-in like 2.8 heads are. There are ECU issues with the 3.0 cam adjusters and 2.7T ECU, too.

Stick to 2.7 or 2.8 heads

They will bolt up but that's the easy part.

But have a 3.0 L car I want to put the 2.7 block would that create less issues?

good question!! i found an a6 with the 2.7 andi have a b6 3.0 but the 2.7 has bent valves. would it be easier to fix the valves or swap heads/crank blah blah blah
