I was missing these as well. PM kdaffy, he'll help you out.

I installed the rails without them. They work fine in the interim until the six screw arrive.

Wish I could help you out. As @pwdrskr mentioned, @kdaffy should be able to get you squared away. He's your group buy leader.

    Good luck!

I should have some nice updates to the allroad in the coming weeks. Attempting to do most of the work myself with the help of a friend. Spring can't come soon enough.

This is my allroad. There are many like it, but this one is mine.

    Spring 2017 (Update 1 of 4)

It's been awhile since I've updated this thread. 39,6XX miles on the odometer. I've been accumulating parts over the past 6 months as items go on sale. Fortunately the weather has finally warmed up to get some things installed. Big thanks to long time AZ'er @turbavanttro for the use of his awesome lift where we completed:

    GFB DV+ Diverter Valve
    Eurocode Alu Kreuz
Moog Sway Bar End Links (front & rear)
    Mud flap delete
Adjusted driverside exhaust and corrected slight exhaust leak
    iJDMTOY 3000K LED Foglights

In order to install the Alu Kreuz on my allroad we had to remove this heavy duty metal cover (not in the instructions so might be different for the A4). It was a pain in the ass to remove!

    Which covered up these electronics

The Moog end links made a huge difference in handling. I chose them over the spherical bearing competitors for their low maintenance and no noise. Combined with the H&R sway bars, this is very set it and forget it which I dig.

Yesterday I completed the following in my garage:

    APR Intercooler
    Eurocode High Flow Intercooler Pipe
Eurocode TRUFit Silicone Intercooler Hose Kit with Turbo Muffler Delete
    Clampco T-bolt Clamps (2.75" - Qty. 5) (3.00" - Qty. 1)

I took my time and had tons of family interruptions but got lots of satisfaction and reward from working on the car.

I followed the APR intercooler instructions but they were specifically for an A4. To install this easily, the crash bar should be removed. One main difference on the allroad, the crash bar is not as removal friendly. It has some hoses running through it so I decided to leave them intact and just loosened it to give as much wiggle room as possible. I jacked up the car and was able to get it into place going up through the bottom. Definitely not as straight forward and a rubber mallet came in handy getting the brackets lined up correctly with the crash bar bolts.

I've read one too many posts about boost hoses popping off the intercooler so the $20 in upgraded t-bolt clamps was the peace of mind I needed. They're wider, more robust and you can really crank them down. Best thing, they don't crush the hoses or leave indentations like a stock clamp.

Earlier today I reinstalled the bumper and took the car out for a 30 minute drive. Throttle response was increased and my butt dyno was happy!

At this point I removed the drivers side wheel to get to the bolts on the stock sound pipe. Not necessary with the bumper off, just made it easier.

Transferred over the sensor and rubber grommets.

    Bumper back on

Stay tuned for more updates over the next couple weeks.

Looks Great, how much difference did the IC and all the piping make. I also plan on picking up some Moog links the throw on my stock sways sicne the stock ones are so huge, they are also much cheaper.

Yeah, it does look mean! With the bumper on, it's not very noticeable though, but I'm ok with that.

It's the silver paint! Very forgiving! It's actually pretty dirty right now from the snow melt / salt mixture on the roads last week

This was such a huge hardware change so it's hard to say which mods had the most impact. I doubt the hoses had anything to do with it. I'm not even so sure the TMD has a huge impact. I wanted to remove all points of restriction and do it all at once. I'm certain the intercooler will help as summer approaches. I will say that the car felt more responsive on my first drive. I even chirped the tires exiting my neighborhood which never happened before.

You can't go wrong with the Moog end links. For $100 it's a great update too. A beefier rear sway bar goes a long way as well.

I've posted this before, but I feel compelled again to tell you how much I like your allroad. Love the silver color! I've even considered getting mine painted. You've done many of the same mods I've done and I have to admit I've "stolen" a few from your thread.

Curious about your fog lights. I the bulbs I have don't project as much as I'd like. How do those do? Where did you get get them from?

    Cheers!

All good! That's what the forum is all about, sharing mods and learning.

These fogs are very bright. They were highly recommended to me from @dropshadow

I was going to get them on Amazon Prime but before purchasing I found a coupon for 20% off direct from their website with free ship.

Nice. I've been very happy with the fogs. I had one of the harnesses die on my first set, but I was able to get a replacement. Otherwise, the bulbs themselves are super bright and get noticed without being blinding to oncoming traffic.

Honestly I'm enjoying it too much. I've had this car since it had 7 miles on it and I'm crossing 115,000 now. It has been bullet proof. It's plenty damn quick now and it's just mine ya know? I don't think I could hand it over to anybody. Plus I love wagons... They're unique. S3s are wildly fun but something about the allroad look and a fast wagon just does it for me. I also never had a payment on this car and I don't really feel like having one for no real logical reason. I really want a b9 allroad eventually but the new ones with the same level of options as my b8.5 are pretty steep in price :/

What's also crazy is that I don't even commute in the allroad. For the past year I've had a different car I daily into the city for work just to keep pothole/ stop and go miles off the Audi. 2005 Saab 9-3. I can't even imagine how many miles id have if I didn't have 2 cars

Everyone wants a ride in that torque buster allroad of yours! I know I do. I'll likely switch to APR's Stage 2 since there is no ETA on the GIAC one and I want to take advantage of all the new hardware. We'll see.

I'm right there with you. I prefer the wagon over a sedan or crossover/suv anyday. It's really great right now. A little cramped with the child seats in the back but the trunk and roof box really come in handy all the time.

Hope I get a chance to see your AR at some point! At least with all those miles on yours, you know they're yours alone. Plus you really keep the maintenance up.

It's been from Florida to Canada and north of 160 mph. Maintaining these cars really damn well pays off. They'll shit themselves around 80-100k if you maintain it like you would a civic. Just doesn't work that way (sadly)

So awesome... We'll have to do some head to head pulls!. Maybe a drag strip or two down at island dragway!

Hairspray is the trick for boost hoses it's what the diesel guys used. My 6.0 diesel shifted at 29 lbs of boost so it'll work on our cars too.
